Jones Regional Medical Center Volunteer Program
Jones Regional has an active volunteer program with more than 30 volunteers of all ages from across Jones County giving of their time and talent throughout the year. Some volunteer at particular times of the year, while others have a regular schedule each month. Volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to:
- Visiting patients and assisting with their meal and mail delivery
- Greeting and registering patients at physician specialty clinics
- Greeting and registering patients at senior health clinics
- Office work, such as filing, shredding paper, typing, photocopying, and counting inventory
- Helping with special events, such as health fairs, blood drives, and fundraisers
- Making phone calls for reminders of events
